To maximize the safety of students and school personnel, as recommended by top level law enforcement officials, Epiphany Catholic School features a closed campus which can only be accessed by parents and visitors through granted request. Chief Ed Hudak, Coral Gables Police Chief, Epiphany parishioner, and Epiphany School Consultative Board member coordinates the school’s security operations.
The school is equipped with state of the art security cameras throughout its extensive buildings and grounds. The school moreover uses innovative technology features recommended by high level law enforcement authorities which establish immediate interaction with police in needed circumstances.
Epiphany Catholic School works closely with a professional security company which provides the presence of a uniformed security guard while students are present on campus and beyond. As such, the school is monitored by security personnel during school hours, evenings and on weekends.
